Tea Time

Today was a paperwork day...ugh! I obtained my business license, tax registration, and set up all my accounts, whew, what a relief. I took a break in the middle of the day to spend some time with my precious friend Victoria. We decided to visit a local tearoom and were delighted beyond words. They had pages of various teas from around the world to try and huge scones with English cotted cream and fruit preserves which were just heavenly. It was the perfect pause in a fast tempo day. Here are a few pictures from our recess.

Overextension

My husband is constantly saying that I overextend myself and looking around at all the projects I have going simultaneously, I sheepishly have to admit he is right! Unfortunately this means that I am chronically playing catch-up to finish things on time; like launching a website and fall product line. Sigh…although it does not look like much now the photo today is of all the pieces for TWELVE bags to be included in this upcoming line. The goal: to finish them by this coming Friday. I have never been able to accomplish this amount of work in such a short time, so wish me luck and tune in soon to see if I can pull it off!

Revealing Catch-up

Yikes, it's been awhile and I just left you hanging on the guessing game. A quick trip to Seattle (without Internet), lots of hours at work, and then a stomach bug have done my blogging endeavors in! Sigh...well allow me, if you will, to reveal the mystery project and then stay tuned for some catch-up blogging this coming week. =0)

The project was a DIAPER-BAG for one of my dear friends in Seattle. Her baby boy is so precious and it was a blessing to get to see him and give her the bag in person on my recent Seattle adventure! Here are some pictures of the finished product from the outside-in. It has one pocket on the outside and on the inside four bottle pockets, a zippered diaper/changing pad pocket that also divides the bag into two compartments, a patch pocket for easy-access items, a zipper pocket, and a matching changing pad.
